I agree. The whole dynamic changes when the Girls are no longer living together and it’s just not the same anymore. I still loved it, and I think it got better as time went on, but this is probably my least favorite season. Well, except for season 7. That’s the worst.

Yeah, she ordered like ten pizzas, plus a bunch of Chinese and other stuff. Not to mention the fact that they never eat at home and eat out all the time. No wonder they’re broke.

Lol, how true. Weren’t they broke in the last episode? So… you can’t afford the inn, but you can afford a trip to Europe and enough snacks to feed twenty or so college freshmen?

Though I do give the Europe thing *some* credit… they’d planned it for years, and they were doing the backpacking/hostel thing, so it couldn’t have been too expensive… but still.

Yeah, the spending the night is the part I have trouble with.

I know what you mean about Paris. It IS ridiculous, but if it keeps Paris on the show it’s all good!

I think this episode is completely ridiculous. Everything from Rory not knowing Paris is her roommate to Yale assigning them as roommates without asking Rory to Lorelai spending the night. But then again, this show doesn’t always do college particularly well.
